Steamed food with Tofu and Pork (with Meigan cai)
Ground pork and Meigan cai with their unique sour and salty taste are a perfect match. During the steaming process, the umami flavors have slowly infused with the tofu, making it a tasty special dish.
Ingredients(for two persons)
3 Imuraya Umashi tofu LONG SHELF LIFE 180
200g Pork shoulder roast block of meat or Ground pork
20g Meigan cai
1 Dried shiitake mushroom
Ingredients (A)
2 teaspoon Chinese rice wine
1 tablespoon Chinese soy sauce (Guangdong light meal say sauce)
2 teaspoon Sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon Granulated sugar
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
2 teaspoon Cornstarch
Preparation
Wash the Meigan cai and dried shiitake mushrooms with water, rehydrate them in water, and drain and chop them.(B)
Directions
1.Pound the pork into small pieces, put in a bowl, and Ingredients (A) mix in the Meigan cai, dried shiitake mushrooms, and cornstarch.
2.Place 1. and the Umashi tofu cut into 4 pieces in a plate, and steam in a steamer for 12 to 13 minutes.
